About the Author

Kathleen Scudder is a dedicated professional with more than 20 years of experience in border security and federal law enforcement. Beginning her career with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1996, she rose through the ranks to serve as Associate Chief and Division Chief for Law Enforcement Operations, retiring as a Senior Executive. Kathleen holds a Master’s in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York.
